Attempt number two! Here we back at the Pikeville RV Park looking to head north. It's been almost a month since we here here last (I can't believe it!) Not much in the way of interesting has happened in the last few weeks. We've been mostly hanging out in Petersburg Campground and Sadler Creek Campground. Both of which are on artificial reservoirs made by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The wildlife around is still in hibernation mode even though they are starting to come out. We've started to see a few lizards and even a river otter! He was so fast that we didn't get a chance to snap a photo.
Sadlers Creek was a nice spot and very popular! On the Easter weekend almost every spot was filled! We've been remiss in out photo taking duties so I don't have much in the way of pictures of the sites but here's a few of Sadlers Creek, SC....

Sam listening to something in the leaves... Speaking of there were huge grasshoppers in Sadlers Creek and they were very loud. |
|
Sam has taken to climbing trees and this was the view looking outside as mum was moving in to bail him out. Meanwhile Carl is happy to hang out at the door and watch the world go by. |

More Lake Hartwell |
Also I've been playing with mums new Canon (Powershot ELPH 160) camera. It's awful at taking action shots or even taking any photos while holding the camera but it's really good at taking macro shots:

Sadlers Creek had millions of these little guys everywhere. |
|
And this is one of the caterpillar sections. |
|
This little guy was maybe 4 mm in length. So tiny! |

Some moss up close |
So with that we're back at Parkville (with actual working and fast internet!) for a few days. Mum is trying to find a few RV parks between here and Canada that we can dump and recharge as we make our way north for real this time! Looking forward to getting back into Canada even if the Maritimes look to be shut down (RV wise) until mid-May / June!
